Jasper

Greg and I went to Jasper on Sunday and came back last night. It was a fun-filled 3 days of snowboarding Marmot Basin. I had never been snowboarding on an actual mountain, and I have to say - I love the pow.
Here is Greg and I leaving GP.

On a stop halfway to wash the windsheild and headlights, we encountered what we figured was the world's tallest stop sign....

This is what it looked like when we finally arrived in Jasper...not too clear.

This is the view from our door...

We even had a real wood burning fireplace in our room! Check out that roaring fire which after three nights Greg finally was able to start it on the first try! Good job dear!

On our last day, we finally had some sunshine. We even climbed to the top of the mountain! Here's what we climbed up...super steep - a good 30 - 45 minute hike!

It was totally worth it! We had nice clean powder that no one had been in yet, and check out the view!

Awwwww!

These next pictures were the drive home - much nicer than the drive there.

If you look to the bottom right of this one you can see a mountain goat's ass...stupid camera delay.
